I have no record or recollection of petensal asking to join the rally. They were never on the list as far as I can ascertain.

All those on the reserve list have managed to get on.

Sadly I can no longer attend this event. I was very much looking forward to it too, my favourite music, the weekend of my retirement, celebrating with Funsters, but unfortunately I won't be able to get away now.
So, there is now another spare place.

We are here in Corfu and last night we were entertained by a Motown /soul singer and very good he was too. I threw a few moves (as you do) and this morning I could hardly walk. I was in so much pain after only a couple of hours so goodness knows what I would have been like after a whole weekend of it. Enjoy it and don't forget, "keep the faith".

Just wondered if anyone had sorted out anywhere locally to stop over the night before? We are leaving York tomorrow to wander aimlessly around the North (still no idea which direction to go, either east to the coast for a days or two or west into the heart of Yorkshire!) will stay one night in Stainforth but that's quite a way away.

Should have arrived today but some nice person decided to cross the crown of the road a mile from our home and ripped off my offside mirror but he drove on regardlessly. My onboard camera would not show reg plate as sun behind him so some swine in a vw dark blue works van hopefully developes massive piles! Contacted 101 who took all the details taking 20 minutes and then said we would have to report to nearest police station with usual documents but had to give all the details again under caution as they can not accept the 101 inf0. What a joke! Then contacted insurer who advised £250 excess and because other driver was unknown the renewal premium would be more.
Rang Fiat Autoworld to price up, new mirror £279, fitted £480!!!!! Robbin ffn barstewards
Went on Ebay, complete long arm offside Fiat Ducato mirror x250 2011, dimentions checked, £145. Called at local garage who quoted approx one hour's labour to fit so at most fitted £200.
