It's usually oranges to go with the boar's head so perhaps for dogs it is different. Mrs Beaton is silent on the subject. I have to ask. Do they have a limes in theirs mouths because you are going to eat them later?

If it's any comfort, a sea storm blew in about an hour after that photo was taken and we were soon huddled in the awning. Sun just rising now though.
