Gruissan to St Pierre velo

IMG20230506211213.jpg
If you were wondering why the Aire at Gruissan is called 4 vents, we could tell you. It's blowing down here today and the next 2.
Blown our chances of a beach day out of the window so another cycling day but going north on good well signed tarmac paths.
Couple of photos of the lit up palm trees from our walk back last night at Gruissan to start with.
Lunch at Narbonne plage before finding quite the place of st Pierre with 2 brocantes a festival of local producers and upon return a brass band.
Seems the wind was against us on return, but our french neighbours have left and 2 motorhomes easily got in and shed loads of space for us to sit out.
Had a beer break (ice pack and bottle top remover permanently in bike) on the beach watching the kite surfers enjoying the wind to then finding presumably the police chopper on the beach
before a walk up the remnants of possible chateau at Gruissan then the church underneath.
Don't know if it will show or not but pink sea on the etaing from the high point. Presuming salt.
