Finally someone tries to seriously ID this bird. Thx Avolian and welcome to Motorhome Fun. As you can see from the posts on this thread, MHF is sometimes a bit like panning for gold. Usually worth it in the end though. I like your name "Avolian", a cross between Avian and Vol, maybe you could get an avatar of a thieving magpie!My guess would be a common Shelduck... the secondary flight feathers are I believe rust, and about the right size to match your pic.
