Could anyone offer any suggestions? The thermocouple and flame failure posts are clean, the ring lights cleanly but won't stay lit when the knob is released.

We have the same problem on our Hymer with both gas rings. It can take 10 minutes of holding the gas button down to get one of them to stay on. Shall follow your post to watch for a solution.

If you can get to the back side of the knobs, unplug then refit the thermocouple terminal from the tab on the knob/valve assembly to remake the connection. I've had to do this on my Smev hob to keep the burners lit when you release the knob.

We have found it easier to light the burners if we start with the flame control for each ring on the lowest setting. Maybe the blue flame centre cone, which is cold, is not heating the thermocouple.
