* Spain, Malaga 2014 (5th - 25th March) UPDATE

Big big thank you to Chris and Brian. We had a lovely afternoon at Coventry.

Ps. I might just stow away in your RV. I LOVE it, I want one.

Our second day at BV was a very lazy affair, spent catching up on some domestic chores and meeting passing MHF members. Lovely lunch prepared by Cathyrn Bolt before which a variety of members dropped by their van........ Graham/Jane and Chris and Liz (Chrisboyo) and quite a gabfest developed.

A leisurely afternoon followed while awaiting the commencement of Happy Hour at the site bar...... curiously, Happy Hour was scheduled to last from 7.00 to 9.30, a long hour by any standard. Was not quite sure what to expect as it had been announced that "Games will be played"

The evening turned out to be a great success for members and site management alike as the beer and a variety of other beverages began to flow and even Rudi (site owner/manager) was seen to smile on one occasion.......... mind you, he was taking a till reading at the time.

Let it be known that the "funsters" did not flinch from their duty and drank until they put the lights ut on us. :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

A great time was had by all and for our part we met many new faces including Cally (Cally and Tony), Destination Unknown (Chris and Brian), Beerdrinker (Ken) and a few others whose names slipped from memory as alcohol consumption increased.

Regards, Bryan and Anna (pitch 47)

Hello to all the Funsters at Bella Vista
We would like to thank everyone who helped with advice and time to prepare us for our first trip to Morocco. Had it not been for the Malaga meet i doubt if we would have made the decision to cross over - as it were!
We are now at Camping Atlantica Parc, near Agadir and plan to stay until Monday and then move on to Sidi Ifni. After which we will start heading north to Marraketh and back up to the port.
All this would not have been possible if it were not for the help given by Steve (Tonka) and Andrew (Mrmotorhome). We met 2 other Funsters at the docks at Agaceria and they too give assistance so thanks too to Ken and Lynda and to Graham and Rosie.
As the meet is nearing its end we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy onward journey.
Hopefully we will meet up again soon.
Colin and Liz

BellaVista belly?

Urgh!!!,

For the past 36 hours I've had the squiters, chivering and aching all over.

Has anybody else been suffering or is it just me?

P.S. A big thanks to Ken & Carol for the medication

Thanks to all that have been at this rally, our first one but we are sure it wont be our last. A big big thanks to Andrew and Steve for arranging this meet. The site looks a bit bare now that most have left. It will look positively empty tomorrow when the rest of us leave.

Safe journey to everyone and best regards, you certainly are a 'fun' bunch.

Steve + Sue:thanks2::beer:

Well our 4 vans now at camperstop Totana..

Bye bye Bella Vista  its been great , The next wave of funsters left this morning leaving behind only Chris & Brian & Mo & Richard to keep the party going , thanks once again to Andrew & Steve for organizing such a fab rally , moving on now to spend our last week travelling to Bilbao, but as we passed through the site gates we heard a gentle sigh, was it the gentle breeze from the sea blowing the tumbleweeds around the silent pitches which had rung with fun and laughter.....no it was Rudi breathing a sigh of relief that no-one got a pic of his moonie  safe onward journeys to all you fab funsters see you all somewhere soon x

Will do our best to keep hold of the good weather. We will be at Villasol until this coming Sunday, there are a few other Funsters here as well. Plenty of spaces here at the moment, look forward to seeing you soon.

Granada Stopover

Got to Granada last night, stayed at Camping Reina Isabella. Good bus service into Granada and took the tourist train around the city, really good value for age concessions at €4, radio commentary and hop on/off at various points including the Alhambra Palace. Well worth a visit!!
Do you think Rudi is missing us yet? It must be a ghost town at the top of the site now.
Off to Benidorm in the morning:BigGrin:

Looking forward to more funsters arriving tomorrow :thumb:

Left BV this morning after a great week of R&R, great facilities, good site, excellent location and even better company. Many thanks to all for making it a great rally.

Regards, Bryan and Anna

Right jammy bu##ers, the lot of you.....................

Glad that you all enjoyed yourselves at Bella Vista, and that many of you are furthering your enjoyment still. :thumb:

All the best,

Jock & Rita

Beyond Bellavista

After leaving Bellavista on Tuesday I came across mountain route to Sanlucar, via Jerez and Lo and behold find 2 Funsters already settled on the Aire enjoying the sunshine. Ken and Carole (Timetraveller) and unnamed Autotrail (who left early today before I got his name). Got to wait here till Saturday as took watch for new battery and find it needs new regulator.
Will then move on to Gelves, near Seville and then Portugal. Many thanks to everyone on making me feel welcome on my first rally with the Funsters. Happy travelling to all.

Hi Chris we are at Gelves with 3 other funsters  but moving on this morning nice to meet you , enjoy your travels

Sue :thumb:

Last to leave (Possibly) La bella Vista, Said our goodbyes and thank you's to rhudi and his team of minions who were still working hard.
He said Thank you to all and hope to see us all agin in the near future.

Had a lovelly run across to Seville Lpg station, Did not use any toll roads as the others were more exciting and more to see. Got to the Lpg station and what a shock as it was not there...Only a pile of dust and the cement base left..
But next to it was a large building which is now the Taxi filler upper station. So we checked head height and got in, filled and payed with card (used to be cash only at taxi lpg stations) and they were all impressed we were there and how much they got from us...

Then a 11 mile drive around Seville to Gelves Mariner where we are now for a few days, other Funsters are/were here.
Gelves is a small working busy Mariner with a few bars/shop on site. Easy bus into Seville and large shops, Mercadonna/Lidle/Aldi within walking distance (if you like a brisk walk that far)

So the Sun is streaming down again today, unsure of plans but it could be Seville or possible somewhere else or just lay around and recover from the excellent 3 weeks we have just had at La Bella Vista.

Tonka and Champers on route home..

Had 2 good nights in Benidorm..:thumb:
Said goodbye to the Funster crowd at Villasol this morning, heading overland to Calais and home.. Now down to 2 vans, Champers and ourselves..

Been a great adventure... Going to be limited internet access for us from now, just McDonalds on route... Catch up with all once home on 31st...

We just arrived at Villasol after Tonka and Champers had left, bumped into Andrew and Carol (Mr Motorhome) at Reception who were just off out for a bike ride. I think others are here somewhere and more on route. Weather is glorious, sunshine and a light breeze.......Aud & Derek
