We're off to Portugal at the end of April and while we've been before we've always driven down thro France and Spain, this time however we've booked the Portsmouth to Santander Ferry arriving at 18.15hrs so we'll need a night stop not to far from the ferry port. Can anyone recommend a good night halt near Santander ? I was wondering if I could o/n in the port and get an early start the next day?
