There was an article in my local newspaper (attached) about a company near to me that does toll tags.

A quick look gave me a couple of key points:

English web pages available / English speaking staff available

The tag is based on height not weight, 4.25 ton, Tag axle etc ok if under 3m high.

Decent payment options including PayPal

Transferable between vehicles

There is a lot more so have a look and see if it suitable for you, I have no connection with the company but will sign up as soon.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, a little stretching of the truth.

Countries that have toll motorways have different ways of setting out the categories for the charges. So the tage has nothing to do with it. For example in France to be category 2 your motorhome has to be less than 3m high and no more than 3500kg MAM and only have two axles. In reality nearly all French toll booths will only measure height, they do not weigh the motorhome of count the axles. So, in reality, you will probably get away with being charged class 2, even if you are over 3500kg MAM and have 3 axles.

Other countries have different rules. For example Portugal has a height limit of 1.10m for vehicle only in class 1. For any vehicle over 1.10m the different classes will depend only upon the number of axles, which they do count. So no weight requirements.

That´s why I posted it, others on here have much more knowledge than I on these things, being under 3500kg and 3m high, I get a 1 year vignette for Austria and pay as I go on the rest, never had a tag, this would be my first ...
