Key fob not working Boxer 2015 (1 Viewer)

Out and about in my van over the weekend and parked up.
Left and locked the van a couple of times but later on that evening nothing happened as the central locking via key fob wouldn't work. I tried both main and spare key fobs both not working. Key in the door allowed me to secure the van. Once in the van l was able to lock the doors via the button on the dash.
I've tried unsuccessfully the recommended process ie key in ignition, press button 10 secs etc but to no avail. Any further suggestions most welcome.

Our neighbor had a Peugeot based MH that had the same problem, which was solved but key in the ignition, ignition on, not starting the engine, doors closed, windows up, and lock and unlock on the key fob, ignition off remove key, get out of the van, shut the door, and the key fob worked again.
Is that the sequence you used ?
