We are travelling down to Benidorm next month,were going to use tunnel and down through France,as we didn't realise there was an alternative ferry route to Spain in the winter as we always use Brittany ferries.Anyway from info on here found out about DFDS from Poole to Santander.We have been doing some research which me be of some use to others using this route.We were initially concerned that the ferry arrived at Santander 7pm and didn't leave much time to find somewhere for that evening,but found this place Broken Link Removed this right in Santander we have emailed them to confirm they are open,alternatively if you didn't want to use the campsite I had a look on google streetview and just down past the campsite is a massive carpark next to the beach couple of hundred yards further on.From there we intend to overnight at Burgos http://www.campingburgos.com/ next night is http://www.campingaranjuez.com/. then on to Benidorm.you could possibly leave one of these stops out but we are in no hurry.
