Campsite advice - N Italy

Youngest child had declared he would like to go to Italy for our summer holiday. We like small campsites, ideally with water to play in - either sea, lake, river or pool. Do you have any recommendations for sites that offer water and are ideally small sites rather than big mega sites? Also, it would help if they are in the north, above Pisa. Thanks

Several great campsites around Lake Guarda. Stayed at camping Fornella but you may feel it is a little large. Lake Como Camping La Riva right at the top end of the lake but watch out for monster mosquitos after about 8pm
