We were at Seraucourt le grand last week and at least 5 caravans were burgled while the owners were sleeping. Car beside us, windows smashed in. And they used our chair covers to smash the windows of the car. Word has it from some of the campers there that it is a common occurrence there. We were untouched apart from the chair covers but please be warned. People lost money and credit cards.

We were broken into last September near Montpellier. 4am whilst asleep via the front passenger door. Brits nearby said it was a common occurrence so now have a ratchet strap between both front doors and a motion detector inside.
