Aircon Specialist (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for recommendations for an aircon specialist to fit aircon to our van.

We have an oddity in that we have a fabric covering on our ceiling, and one well respected general installer (NOT specialising in aircon) has declined to fit aircon for fear of tearing it.

Can anyone recommend someone who is both very competent and confident in this kind of install?

I would add that someone else with the same van as ours has the truma compact system fitted, but it was by the dealer or the factory.

I recently had an AC unit fitted into our Ducato Swift Select Campervan.
I just let Dometic fit it at their Tewkesbury workshop.
You get an extra year warranty on the unit if they fit it as opposed to a dealer fitting. They were no more expensive than a dealer for a freshjet unit.

Did you buy it directly from them or through a reseller? I just saw a reseller giving the option to have it delivered or sent to Dometic for installation, but on the dometic site I cannot see any way to order anything.

I did it direct with Dometic at Tewkesbury.
