I've just been doing the monthly update of the PoI set and realised it's a while since I posted details of progress.
I've been undertaking a second round of contacting councils in recent months - which should be complete around the end of this year. Together with contributions from individuals that has enabled generation of PoIs for 1509 places. There would be more but on-line mapping of some areas (from which co-ordinates are generated) is insufficiently accurate. No doubt that will improve with time.
I've also checked the web site stats and see that the peak months of April to August averaged about 12,000 unique visits per month.
Thanks to all who have provided support with extra information or simply by using what is there.
