Just had my motorhome ceramic coated by a company called PP PROTECT in Moira and I'm over the moon with the result, they did an amazing job on my Tesla so thought i would get the MH done too

Looks really good, but always do after a good clean. The proof shall be how clean it stays and how easy it is to clean. I did contemplate having my new Morelo done as a factory extra but felt the 8k price tag a tad too much. I have still been thinking about it. Would it be cheeky to ask a ball price figure please?

Mine is a 2019 reg and it cost £900 plus vat

Can I please ask, How long does the protection last against the elements, before it needs a further application.?
I have reviewed several detailing ceramic coatings from all the usual, plus some professional detailers recommended US Based products, and have reached the conclusion that.... 1. full prep needs carrying out i.e existing wax removal, reparations to any dead paint areas or swirling, then full protection re-waxing before final ceramic coating is applied. 2. Sufficient time is allowed for the products to cure. 3. Even the best of them should last 3-6 months, provided that the vehicle is washed with a low PH car shampoo. 4. The ceramic product will probably have to be re-applied or topped up at regular intervals to maintain a high level of protection.
It a lot of work, but looking at the results, its worth it, especially if you can afford to get someone to do it for you. (y)

Where is Moira please?
No problem travelling to somewhere as long as we can stay in the van overnight.
Is that possible and how long does the job take?

Van looks fabulous by the way……I’m a little jealous.

Richard.

Conkers ccc would be your best bet. We live about 1/4 mile from PP.
