  1. Sea France is now no more. The recievers are selling the ships. The staff have been absorbed in the SCNF parent company. It was sad to see one of their vessels tied up in its berth at Calais last weekend (11th February 2012) looking totaly dead.

We parked beside the closed and taped off offices of Sea France at the docks

We sailed on P&O “Pride of Kent” and the standard of maintenance on this vessel left a lot to be desired and in no way matched the quality we experienced with Sea France. Seats torn and taped up with yellow and black sticky tape which was also covering or marking off many patches of the floor.
