Zig charging (1 Viewer)

Hi again now have zig unit up and running. When I am charging on touring is it ok to leave on with only short journeys,i.e day to day driving. Or do I turn off the unit until I am doing along run? If the advice is to turn the zig off will battery discharge if still connected.Any advice please.............BRUCE
