Just a heads up that the Belgies have been building a lovely new road on the way past Brugge to Zeebrugge(y) the trouble is the sat nav doesn’t/didn’t know this and they haven’t got around to putting any signs up yet. Take care as the lovely new road heads to Holland:LOL:

And yes we still caught the ferry.

We got caught up in that, when we brought our new van back from Belgium in September. Campirama had promised to drive us (ie me and the dog) to Zeebrugge, with Graham hurtling behind in Campirama's 20-year-old car.
We were already anxious because we had heard about Campirama's reckless drivers cutting things a bit fine. Luckily, we had a very good driver, who set off in plenty of time. All was well until we hit the new road, which neither the driver nor the sat nav recognised.
I'm a pretty calm type, but definitely had to try very hard not to lose my cool on this occasion.
We just made it to the ferry. (y)

You need the N31 not the new A11
The N31 is the old road which brings you direct to the ferry.
the turn off (slip road) should be just after the railway bridge.

Just come back a couple of days ago and all was OK, so sat nav's and signpost's must be sorted now I think.
