Hello all - good to be back on the 'friendly motorhome forum'!!
What a lot of sparkling to murky water has passed under the bridge since I was last on Fun. Sold the Murvi in 2016, went to Canada to spend a couple of years with elderly parents, came back to Europe to do an epic solo bicycle tour with little dog Murph (Nordkapp, Norway to SW Sicily). Then thought I'd better get serious. Back to the UK to start a little private chef/service business....two months before Covid. Urg.
To beat the lockdown blues, I bought a cute little narrowboat, spent a year on that, decided the canals were a bit too leisurely for me, decided to move to France. Now working as a gardienne/property manager of private chateau in Normandy. Not that you asked!! But anyway...
Reason for rejoining Fun is because I'm hunting for my first French vehicle, which I'm hoping will be a quality used low profile at a very good price - good luck, you say! Miss the freedom of a 'van though and the touring is so fantastic in France , so I'm on a mission! Hoping prices will come down and more will come up for sale post-covid staycations.
Hoping you are all doing well and making the best out of a rotten couple of years!!

Yes, a lot of Normandy is quite pretty. I'm in the 'bocage' bit between St Lo and Vire. Only 45 mins to the lovely sandy beaches of the Cherbourg peninsula. Can't wait to have a little MoHo just to go and lounge around on one of the wonderful beachside aires on weekends!!
