Yuasa L36-EFB battery

Quite a lot of people have the Varta with no complaints that I know of, I always say EXIDE Gel but they are more money and your chargers need to be able to cope with Gel.

Bought 2 Yuasa in January, have been away for 1 month in March skiing and 6 weeks this summer. No issues so far.

Take a look at the Halfords LFB700...we have just purchased 2 of these as replacements for our MH...they are made by Yuasa and purely rebadged as Halfords...they use the EFB technology in the caravanservices report you highlight above... with discount and selling on my old batteries I got these for £80 each...and best of all Halfords give you a no quibble 2 yr guarantee....

Could I ask how you got a discount and how you sold your batteries ?

I get discount (10%) through my old military service career "Blue Light Card"...as for the old batteries I sold them on Facebook...we have a couple of local groups.... "Things for sale in Evesham"..."Things for sale in Worcester" ...for example.... sold them for £20 each...

I have two of the same Halfrauds batteries and believe they are the same Yaesu batteries as they have identical specs. With a Halfrauds trade card (not hard to get) they are £88 each.

Halfords Trade Card is well worth obtaining. Some of the discounts are pretty substantial.

I tried to get that discount but they didn't believe I was in the SAS and rode a Sopwith Camel at Rourks drift. Bummer.
You too were at Rourke's Drift? I was there on the Zulu side. :giggle:

Based on this article. http://www.aandncaravanservices.co.uk/battery-technology.php
These batteries seem to be the best one to go with from what this guy says, Has anyone got an opinion or experience of these.
I need two new batteries and am so confused by all the advice, I'm losing the will to live:confused: the comparison to the Varta LFD90 seems good which are what I was looking at initially.

I didn't know then...

Oh dear me,

God bless and help them guys.

If you take your old battery to the local scrap merchant you should be able to weigh them in.

Used to be £0.58/kilo.

Not sure what the price would be now but last time I took a car battery in they paid me £5.50.
