You never know whats lurking round the corner!

There is a CAMC site just up the road from there, been through in ours which benefits from being an A class, once the mirrors are through we can get on with it , just don’t move the steering wheel ?

Yes we were coming from there but came in the other side due to road blocked so first time through. We’re 2.35m, good advice don’t move the steering wheel.?

Gosh

We went through there in an n&b arto and it was a close thing both width and height were tested to the limit

Yes caught me out first time but at 2.35m with mirrors in went through comfortably

This was the entrance to the road for our site in Ledro. We walked to the site entrance and asked if this was the only way in as it looked far too narrow for our van (2.5m). Owner said yep, that was it! Didn't have a tape measure, so walked across the middle of the bridge, heel to toe. Worked out to 9 steps....back of van was just over 8 steps (fortunately wing mirrors weren't an issue due to low wall!). Definite squeaky bum moment! I reckon 2 inches gap either side.

Although this one in Dinant a few years ago was fun! Actually waited by the side of the road until I saw a bus go through with touching their brakes...always use buses as a guide to where I can go!

Did say 2.7 metres, but didn't look like it going towards it!

Slightly different I know, but we followed a horse box type lorry on the way back from Malvern. He managed to side swipe his awning off on this telegraph pole. Nothing coming other way and luckily for us, it hung off his side and didn’t fall into our path.

That's plain not paying attention or not knowing the vehicle width.

with a 10ft 9" height clearance I would not have chanced in mine.. 3.3 metres ( 10ft 8.25" ) !

There goes my Satfi dish cover then.
Long way to back up there if it didn't go.

I've got a photos somewhere of the Bolton Abbey archway with Isettas in the 2 small arches and our Bond Minicar in the middle one!

I've done the Bolton Abbey one but only because I remembered coaches going through when we went on school trips from Leeds.
