So a little while ago on the forum I sought advice about panel vans and received many useful pointers. Taking everything into account and a rational, careful, considered approach, we looked around and did like the Malibu. As luck would have it, none of the right spec to suit us were available. Whilst at a show we idly admired a used A class Dethleffs Black Magic Edition. We loved it instantly! To the extent that we were willing people to get off 'our' van. Paid a deposit and waited and waited for the big day. We are undoubtedly difficult customers and know we irritated the dealer beyond belief with our demands and requests for assurances. After all, it was oodles of dosh. Anyway, the great day came and we traded in the Chausson. The dealer service was very good and the handover lengthy and excellent. We travelled about the East Mids for 9 days and about 600 miles and nothing broke. It is everything we hoped it would be and more. Loads of toys. So if you see a smug couple in a Dethleffs...
