First i would like to thank you & your team for doing such a good job
at times like this.
As i m new to this forum ,So sorry for putting said subject in the wrong place.
But why has it been demoted to the belly locker & not the u shaped lounge?
If the subject is to much of a problem fair enough.
My wife is a retired nurse. Who has volunteered to go back to nursing ,to help the country
she has underling health issues. Type 1 diabetic & asthma.
Putting her life on the line. And if they are still coming over here on boats & vehs from high
risk country's they are putting more pressure on the few resources that the uk has.

Ps i have no problem with foreigners, My mum was German & my dad was Scottish.

For me closing something is a form of censorship regardless of wether it is right or wrong or upsets a certain minority ,a short Way to dictatorship which this country has never been down.Just my opinion and in know way reflects anyone on this great forum .

Yes forums do take a bit of getting used to and finding your way around.
Jim does not have a team just him and Sian every one else is just Funsters the same as you, and I'm sure you will be able to guess by the huge amount of posts that it's not that easy to see every post

That high risk country is the USA now.

Oh and of those "illegals" 1200 now work within the NHS as doctors.

As are the other 1200, now. Interesting to note that it costs £25,000 to retrain a asylum seeker who is a qualified doctor overseas, compared to the £250,000 for a UK trained doctor.

but for me right now , far more seriously , admirable as it is , what on earth is your wife thinking of putting herself at risk to herself and then potentially taking valuable bed space

you need to keep her home and safe ?

Hi, I saw your private message before I saw this post and answered you around 3:30 this morning. I have been snowed under with lots of cries for help from our full timing community or I might have got to you sooner

Your post had nothing to do with motorhomes so I moved it and took the time to tell you why. It might well have gone elsewhere, but by that time there was bickering on the thread and racist accusations, So I placed it in the belly locker to ensure it was not indexed by google or seen by visitors.

If you want a post to come to the attention of another funster, including Jim you need to put an @ before their forum name and it will then look like this Jim when it is posted.

If posts start getting too argumentative and people start getting rude those people are banned and the thread sometimes gets deleted or put in the belly locker. This is done by Jim and it keeps this forum Fun. That keeps the keyboard warriors at bay.

You must realise that MHF is not run as a democracy, thank goodness. Otherwise it would be full of keyboard warriors arguing for the sake of it.

I believe, we all have racism in us, but that's where it should stay. I had this discussion recently, the lady argued that she hadn't, until I mentioned the Welsh, she didn't like the Welsh. I like this forum because it allows gentle banter and nobody is made to look foolish well only a little.
