Hi, looking to buy our first motorhome and was thinking of going to harrogate tomorrow ?
Has anybody been ?
Thanks

They have plenty of vans here. I noticed quite a few sold stickers on vans this evening.

We went last year when we were researching / looking. Worth it to see a lot of vans in one place and be able to eliminate possibilities. :)

Especially if you have free entry tickets.

I wouldn't buy at a show as you do need to do more homework when you have seen what you think you want.

Take a camera and notebook as it all blurs after a while - and don't just note what you are interested in but also what you have discarded and why - you will forget and can end up going to revisit models that you have already decided would not suit.

Also shows are good at parting you from your money so make sure you know what you want to buy and the price elsewhere.

We have been twice first time last year and yesterday.
Plenty of vans to look at for ideas, size, layout and price. It was nice to see what was available.
We have an old Motorhome and are very happy with it
I feel there was an opportunity missed to provide spares and accessories,
We were disappointed and will not go again.

Thanks just looking for ideas layout etc so not to fussed about spares and accessories

We didn't go this year but might next if we get free tickets. We would make a bit of a holiday of it and spend time elsewhere before and after the show if the weather was okay.

We went for the day today - plenty of stock about. Good chance to see lots together and some nice accessories (and MrsTheWife and I got to say 'Hello' to Jim)

Very windy today though!

yes plenty of vans to view a good few outside, terrible weather, but on the plus side we met Jim Sian and Terry and found a great table we have only been looking for a year, If you are not travelling far worth a look otherwise probably not worth the effort.

We went Friday. Think it might of been the best day weather wise.
First time we've been and it was ok would go again.

Just out of Curiosity where Brownhills Showing? We had a brief stop at their Newark Site, en route South to North, Saturday and they had hardly any stock on show?.

Pete
