My name is Sarah, and my partner is Al. I have a dog called Dewy... We live in my bus: iveco 49-10 S reg and daren't drive it far as it does very few miles to the gallon. I have spent some money trying to find out why, but have now settled for not driving it far!

We have a wood burning range (mini), a fixed double bed, no toilet or shower, a bench seat, table and kitchen: oh yes a few cupboards too.

Something that I absolutely love about the bus is the large skylight above the bed from which the stars appear to hang in the sky...

Hi Sarah, welcome to the fun, I've always fancied a wood-burner in a van, but we always move around too much to make it feasible. Got any pics of your van?

Welcome!:)

There's a wealth of knowledge on here, you might even solve your fuel consumption problem!

You are parked up for most of the time, have you got a seized brake?

Love your set-up. That was how we started out with a basic vehicle which slowly became a little more luxurious over the years. A few more details about your engine may help produce advice on economy, Could the engine be re-mapped perhaps?
Sorry! Pardon my manners..... Welcome!

Welcome! I guess you have something like this:

If you do want to travel and the budget can stretch to it you could get a suitable MH for living in which was a lot smaller and more economical to run. Or convert a van, as many on here have done - but don't expect an mpg much better than around 25. I guess your bus does under twenty?
