Just got an MOT today, but have an advisory on tyres - currently 6 x Pirelli Citynet 225/75/16 load index 118/116, which I believe are standard commercial van tyres, it appears one is around 10 years old.
I've never weighed the vehicle - a Concorde Charisma 2 890M, but it's built on an Iveco 65C17 chassis uprated to 6.7 tons courtesy of rear air suspension. Front axle max load 2400 kg, rear axle 5000 kg GTW 10000 kg.
If what I've been reading is correct, tyres with a load rating of 118 = 1320kg which is OK for the full front axle load of 1200kg/tyre, but the rears at 116 = 1250kg/tyre on dual wheels is only JUST enough.
Having had a quick look at prices, I'm leaning towards standard van tyres with a 121 load index from a well known manufacturer, e.g. Pirelli/Michelin/Continental/Goodyear etc. but I note that specific 'camper' tyres are also available. So far not found any 'camper' tyres with a load index higher than 118.
Genuinely don't know which way to go. I would appreciate any suggestions

Go with quality van tyres. Don’t bother with camping tyres unless you park it up for months not using it.

Also look at lesser known quality manufacturers like cooper, davanti, nokian etc.

Tend to be a bit cheaper but good quality.

Thank you for these helpful replies.
I suspect Tyre Leader's headline prices will probably not be cheapest after delivery & fitting charges as I'm seeing fully-fitted prices for only a few £ more, (example ASDA Goodyear Efficient Grip Cargo 225/75R16 121R £138.50 or Hankook Vantra 121/120R £128.81 both fully fitted, possibly an extra £30 discount on the Hankooks).
Annoyingly many websites won't let you order >5 tyres, (but I guess 4 rears from one retailer, 2 identical fronts from another would work).
Going to try talking to a few local suppliers, I'll let you know how that goes.

I went on line to My Tyres, Oponeo, Blackcircles etc and priced for 5 tyres fitted locally at one of their so called ‘partners’.
I printed this off and took it to my local independent tyre dealer and asked if they could match it, they beat it slightly.
