Our leisure battery is no longer working efficiently (it's 6 years old) so we're having it replaced with a pair of new batteries. The old one isn't completely finished, just not efficient enough to run stuff for more than 24 hours so useless to us when not on hook up. Can anyone think of a use for it before we take it to the council dump? It seems a shame to dump it when it if it could be used for something.
All suggestions welcome

I have an 'old' one off my caravan that I use for the wandering lead work lamp. Never lasted long on the van, but lasts a good month or two just running a little 12v worklamp:thumb:

If its a good size , you will get more than a tener at the scrap yard but it is a bit of hassle now they can't pay you in cash, got to take id and have a cheque
