- Still getting started
I see that https://www.yescapa.co.uk has extended to the UK - starting in France, then Spain/Germany, they seem to be expanding rapidly and have just received some second round funding from their insurance partner. This presumably means they're likely to be a stable company (at least in the short/medium term).
They seem very expensive (15% fee net of their insurance charge, which works out at about 30% taken off the rental before you get it) but claim to offer a very good customer service (and large continental client base - which is probably key to renting here in Scotland). The insurance covers breakdown and recovery - for the hirer they demand both an insurance excess deposit, and an additional "guarantee" deposit for any breakages or excessive wear and tear/cleaning etc not covered by the insurance.
Other than the routine of cleaning/fixing and handovers, has anyone any experience of motorhome hire agents like this one (good or bad)?
