Do i need a blind spot sticker for the side of the van
Conflicting info. Some say yeah others nay
What do you say.Our van is 7.5m hope you can clear it up for me
many thanks

4.5T Thats a yes then
Many thanks
Mine is 4T but is up plated from 3.5T. I really don’t like stickers of any kind so I don’t have them on mine. You’ll be very lucky to see a French van with them fitted. I only saw one and the stickers were covering up a bump.

last year there were plenty with them on in the 5 weeks we were there. we are 3.8t.

I had them with me but was reluctant to put them on and in the end I didn't. As we are going for 90 days this year in June. I will fit them.

I believe that you would also require the speed stickers for the rear if over 3.5t I noted that if a French van had the blind spot it also had the speed stickers

Speed Stickers, has the law changed? As long as you are not towing anything, were not needed previously. As for blind spot stickers, they are the law if over 3.5T.

I don’t know just an observation we made that all vans that had blind spot stickers also had speed ones. Mainly European vans not British. Not towing anything either. So I’m not sure if it’s to do with being over 3.5t.

My moho is 3650 whats the chance of the police knowing that im over 3500kg. Would they even be interested?

They would if you had an accident. They would be all over it. The risk is low but it's not impossible.

The speed stickers only applies to French registered vans.

According to French rules this is the one for camping cars. The flashing lights are what Spain is making compulsory in time.
