Windows & is just adressed down version of vista they took basic all the **** off of it ,there are still a few issues with drivers though so check first ,also a good little freebie prog i use is spybotdefender :The home of Spybot-S&D! total updateable plus has a forum for those lovely nasties one gets once in a while,and i dont use any anti virus reason being is any one genius who can write these already knows a backdoor into the mainstream anti Virus packages,any for those who use vista or xp heres a good site to turn off un-needed parts of it and free the works up a bit so to speak ...Black Viper's Web Site

i will second black vipers web site go to the services and follow his instruction on the chart to disable/turn to manual the settings shown.

followed it for years.
