Weve got about 17-18 days due to kids schooling where would you go/ suggest travelling from Glasgow?

Probably as far south a you can get with the time you have we are going over during the Christmas brake but haven set any firm plans yet
probably go to disnay land Paris on the way down

To get any warmth you will need to get into Spain or Portugal as far south as you can but with 18 days a lot of your time will be spent travelling, and will eat into the days at your destination you would need to consider whether it would be worth it?

That would be the thing to do you'll then be in a position to get south quite quickly.
We drive down through France every year but we live in the South so don't have a long trek to start with like you will have.
Enjoy your trip whatever you decide(y)

We are planning to spend a week in Roses North of Barcelona From New Years eve. From what I can see so far all the campsites appear to be closed but there are some Aires which don't look too bad.
