Our scooter sits in the shed for 5 months through the winter and comes out in April with mould on the seat and rust starting all over. Exhaust, brake caliper and bar end caps mainly. I read in MCN that they recommend XCP rust blocker so I bought a spray bottle. It goes on like thick oil and over a few days sets into a film. Just been out and looked at the caliper and it's not plastered in crap like it would be with oil or grease on it. So I'll see what it's like next spring, wouldn't surprise me at all if it peels off with rust starting underneath.

Anybody else used this or any other products? I'm a fan of white grease spray but the bike would look horrendous with that on.

That just evaporates and doesn't really stop rust :(

WD stands for Water Displacement. It is good for that and ok for loosening stuff up. But I don't think it is any good for rust blocking.
