Hi techno and are you saying that there are 3 different lengths of mirror arms for the Fiat as i thought there was just the long arm for coachbuilts and the really short one they fit to panel van conversion ! .

Can you tell the difference between old & new?
I've just looked at they look pretty much the same.
(Still got your knife btw)

Had my long arms changed for short. But our Hymer Exsis is built narrow, doesn't suit all vans you need to be able to see the rear corner of the van on both sides. However, it's a great mod and gives you more confidence in tight spots.

Hi Techno and any chance of a part number for the medium arms and where to buy then please ? .

I just ordered by description with my vehicle details. Mine are left hand drive imported from Germany.
There are several manufacturers making the same parts for different prices.

I just ordered my left drivers side and the price was cheaper on the AUTODOC app that on their website
So I got electric mid size arm with thermo sensor for £130.99 delivered

You need to watch when they send you email 'specials' as the price often ends up dearer than you are paying direct on the site.

Autodoc on this occasion were appalling. Fortunately I photographed the packaging as I opened it. The outer Autodoc box was totally unmarked but the contents and its box were clearly damaged before being sent out.
I reported the damage immediately but they then took over a week to supply a return shipping label and a further week to refund me.
The whole affair was a waste of 3 weeks and dozens of emails. I will not shop with them again as the time they took was ridiculous.
I have since bought from eBay France and received a mirror this morning
