Wychwood Festival 2019 is coming up https://wychwoodfestival.com/ at the end of this month - has anyone been or has plans to go? Please let us know what it's like & how handy it is for walking into Cheltenham? Found a great ticket offer on Travelzoo Broken Link Removed from £69 each for the weekend plus £58.58 for a campervan making it one of the more affordable festivals which prompted us to look at this one. No dogs allowed though as it's on the Racecourse.
We are currently exploring the possibility of a Motorhome Fun meet with our own allocated area at Wychwood Festival & ticket deal for next year with the organisers as we do like a festival! :dance2::dance2: Would have tried for it this year but we have a bit too much already planned.
This years line up looks good:

Regards walking too Cheltenham town from the racecourse. I wouldn't recommend it to be fair. It's a good few miles on pedestrian unfriendly roads. The public transport is pretty good around here tho. (y)

Seriously?

A short walk on good pavement takes you to the Park.
Continue on and you are into Town.

What bit of the roads are unfriendly with reasonably wide pavements and pedestrian crossings at most junctions.

You must have.

Now that I wouldn’t want to be walking on, well dodgy road and no path.

Literally thousands of people walk to the Racecourse from the Town on race days :)

If anyone is considering this then not only are the tickets available cheaply from Travelzoo as above but discount code Freedom19 reduces the campervan fee from £58.58 to £39.25 too(y)
