We have decided to purchase a Bradcot Module Air 260 and have been told that the Awning Rail fitted on my Pilote Reference P670J is wrong. I have been trying to get the correct rail from Swift but no luck as yet, none in stock, I placed the order on 22nd June. Any suggestions?

Hi,Togy if you can take a measurement of your rail in mm you may find a kador strip to fit in your awning rail and then you slide a figure of 8 plastic rail onto the kador then your awning bead fits into that rather than buy a new rail. This is assuming that you have a wind out sunshade.

What makes you think the Awning rail is wrong. Perhaps it’s the fault of the Bradcot Module manufacturers who don’t make one to fit the Pilote.

As already said, a Kador strip is required.
Lots of different options available to pair the awning to the rail. Broken Link Removed

im a newbie
Have you checked the height of the rail as caravan awnings are 250 cm and motorhome awnings are taller ?

If you using a wind out awning rail they usually are 4 or 5 mm and you then use a kador strip 4 or 5 to 6 mm then a figure of 8 plastic strip to join the kador to the 6 mm on your awning .

Kampa 6mm to 4mm Keder Strip
The Kampa keder strip can be used with any brand of drive away awning for motorhomes and campervans. It comes in two versions, 6mm to 6mm and 6mm to 4mm. This is the 6mm to 4mm version.

The 6mm to 4mm version is typically used for connecting to a wind-out awning.

For connecting to a C rail or Reimo rail, you typically need the 6mm-6mm version.

Sold by the metre.

Must have upset him as he’s not been back since. Be nice to know what happens sometimes or even a Thank you wouldn’t go amiss.
