Hi

This is our first season of 'motorhoming' .

I put it in inverted commas as we are really sleeping in a Ford galaxy with a DIY slated bed base for sleeping me and Mrs DTB, and tiny, and the two larger boys in pop tents.

anyway looking for ideas how to make the most of what we have, abd see what other people are doing in this line.

hello everyone.

Won't be long before you realise that you need the most essential thing - a loo!
Enjoy! And welcome.

hello everyone.

MrDTB

You can get awning thingies which fit on the back of hatchback cars. This would give you a sitting area which will be a godsend in bad weather. You could also put a porta-potti in there at night.

Buy some bunk cups and fit them in the driving cab and make a bunk for tiny, we did this and as they get older can always use the bunk to put stuff when camping out of the way unless you have swivel seats but can still put bunk up at night. Make sure tiny cannot wriggle and fall of ends, plus we also had fullsize sleeping bag cut down one side about 2ft and turn back like you would a blanket.not sure how old tiny is.
happy camping
