Not everyone would know what to do if someone suffered a diabetic emergency or an allergic reaction. Thanks to an app from The Red Cross which has easy to follow instructions and videos everyone can now help save lives. Worth keeping on your phone and tablet as you never know when you will need it.

I've been an insulin dependant diabetic for 41 years Mike...

Thanks for the heads up it really might save lives.

Footnote though whilst diabetic coma is nearly always low sugar (Hypoglycaemia) levels the symptoms of high sugar levels (Hyperglycemia) can be frighteningly similar.

Treating improperly can be fatal.

Take care !!

'er indoors is insulin dependent amongst other various other things. She also carries an Epipen around.

I know pretty much what to do for her if/when things go tits up but not many people would.

This is a great app. (y)
