Worn wiper mechanism

I have a 1993 Pilote Galaxy 22MX LHD and the wiper mechanism is worn i.e. passenger side does its own thing. so I need to replace but not sure how to tackle this. New, secondhand? Any advice would be gratefully received.

What type body is your van, I ask because if it is an A Class the mechanism could of been from any vehicle e.g. a lot of Hymers use Volvo wiper motor and mecs. I think you need to strip it out and see if you can trace if from any part numbers on it.

If its a standard van front end it should be straightforward to get the parts.

Doing its own thing is not a trade term i'm familiar with
