I have just been to the French Alps to rescue a Funster who did all the right things before a long touring holiday, including have the front hub bearings (Wheel Bearing) changed on his Hymer 230 2001.

Suffice it to say the garage knew little of wheel bearings and how to fit them or adjust them on this model and year of Ducato.
They have a spacer fitted and matched to the hub thus allowing hub bearing end float. (free play), this spacer had been missed out, the hub seized and tor the CV...
