Hi guys is there a write programme as standard in a Mac? daughters in a panic.

Olley, I've got an Educational version of Word for Mac somewhere if that would be useful. Will only be able to search for it coming weekend though. There is onboard word processing though, as Scotjim has pointed out.

Let us know if you don't get sorted. There are also numerous free downloads from sites like Pure Mac: Software for Macintosh where open source word processors and text editors can be downloaded.

Just a thought, Olley - why not try Open Office for Mac?? Its free, open source - and on Pure Mac: Software for Macintosh and just as full featured as Microsoft Office- wp, spreadsheet, the lot.

Hi thanks jim/laurie, haven't got much sympathy for her, when she came home at xmas, instead of learning about it she went out socialising.

Now her printer won't work, did on the PC which she has left at home.oh:
