I guess that depends on what you are looking for. I hope shortly to have a CL on the Woolacombe road. can find parking space what do you need?

Had a look on the CC web site at damage barton but got the impression it has no electric hookup.

thinking of just parking up in a local street for the two nights and try this wild camping hopfully if we avoid the use of tv the battery will last 2 days. Not sure where will we top up the fresh water from though.

Both the CC sites, Willincot and Damage Barton have electric hook up. We have stopped at both CC sites and can say they are very good but they are not cheap. We have also stayed at Hidden Valley but it is a long way out. The Woolacombe Bay sites are very comercial and you are quite cramped for space. There are plenty of other sites dotted around from £10 a night.

We stayed at Willingcott CC site in April. It's located just outside of Woolacombe and next to the Tarka Trail. We'd go back again.

Was down there in March this year, stayed at "Twitchen Farm" Caravan club CL in Ilfracmbe (page 342)
Pretty basic, did have EHU though and some shower and toilet facs.
Short drive to Wooly, parked up for the day in carpark overlooking beach (£4 for the Day)
