Hi folks
Can anyone suggest somewhere I can stopover for one night near Woodstock
I want to visit the game fair and won't pay £90 for the weekend when I can only stay Saturday night.
Also the caravan club site next door is full.
Any help gratefully received

Can't find it now but there was a thread on this not so long ago, certainly since we stopped at that CC site at the beginning of April. Someone on their way north wanting an overnight around here. Having just been there I suggested the slip road to that CC site where there is parking, I think for coaches visiting Winnies grave at nearby Bladon. There were lorries overnighting while we were there.

Try the Sturdys Castle pub I think they may allow a motorhome to park on the adjacent field or car park.
It is very close to Woodstock on the A44, may be worth a call .

Not very glamorous but the oxford water eaton park and ride had motorhomes at far end the other week. It's about 5-10 minutes drive away

Had a look at weather radar and bailed out, left at 5am got back at 7pm.
Absolutely knackered but had a fantastic day.
