Next weekend, we are going to do an overnighter and fancy visiting Puzzlewood in the Forest of Dean (always wanted to go back ever since visiting as a young kid).

Just up the road is the Woodlands View Campsite Site which is open all year.

Anybody stayed there?

Crag, haven't stayed there, but last time we were in the Forest we found a wild camping spot at Wenchford, near Blakeney (OS Grid Reference: SO 654081). If wild camoing is your thing it may be an alternative.

It's actually at a FC picnic site and the bloke locked us in for the night. Very peaceful and quiet apart from the nightingales!
