1st gear? 😊

Sorry, just my daft humour!
Would have thought possibly a specialist body repairer for an assessment and price.
Welcome to the madhouse by the way.
Perhaps an indication of your location might help people recommend repairers localish to you?

No problem with humour life’s a dull place without a laugh now and again.
Trying to sort problem out myself have dug out rotten wood thats been caused by bad repair from local supplier.I purchased van 5 years ago. Luckily all damage is under van or in storage cupboard looking for suggestions as to what type of filler and rot hardener use.

Hi, I started out like you a small spot needing repair, ended up in going to have replace nearly all of the timber skeleton. There are lots of RV and motorhome videos on Youtube, you just have to search for them. If you have a selection of DIY tools and a little skill and a lot of courage, older motorhomes are quite easy to repair. Just very time consuming, which is why it costs a lot of money. There are a few threads on this forum (including mine) about substantial repairs. Best of luck with your repair. John
