Lots but slow learner.
The van we bought brand new that the engine blew up and consequently needed a new engine. (van rejected of course)
When the new engine is fitted, remember only 15 miles on the clock and registered 21 plate, how will it be marketed to be sold again?
Will new engine be mentioned?
Will V5 have to be changed to show new engine number?
Will it be classed as new or used?

If anyone wants the reg number i can provide through PM only.

The new engine number will have to be changed on the v5 so DVLA will need to know
What the dealer tells the new recipient is open to debate (doubtful) maybe it was its 2nd engine before it even got to Bob

Someone will be along to give us 100% answer

As you would have been the first registered keeper it would be hard to explain that one away with such low mileage

When I was searching for a motorhome, I assumed that all vehicles less than 6-12 months old were rejects.

If I were minded to buy one, I'd want to examine it very carefully.

Great way of thinking

this is from someone who had to reject our first 2 new MoHo’s because of serious defects 🤕

No engine number on my V5, I had to go searching on the engine when I matriculated into Portugal.

.
Our van 2003. 19 k on the clock we thought it was a replacement but everything we got back from the dvla says engine from first registration . And the miles tally up with everything the dvla has.

Never had an engine number on the V5 of all the vans we have had.
& that along with no coc type, no emissions, etc, etc,is why it is so hard re registering in other countries, the sheer lack of info on a UK registration document.

Because DVLA are primarily interested in getting the 'Revenue Weight' correct for collecting the VED and not interested in much else.
