Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
When our Eurolottery numbers come up tonight (of course they will) me thinks we'll be phoning or visiting these Canadian guys for a motorhome.
The bed is designed to fit a human being that's over 5ft6in & 7stone & the seats aren't made for these midgets either.
Now one feature I particularly love is the way the TV stores away but, can still be watched.
Can you imagine switching on the fish tanks view & telling people that you've had a fish tank installed?
:dance2:

I just watched all of that, didn't like it at first, now I want one (y)

With a Gross vehicle weight rating of 5000kg for a 7.6m van I did wonder what they make them from. Clearly no payload issues in the USA.

Also has a 2.67 metric ton trailer limit.
They have completely different weight laws in America.
In some states its even permitted to tow two trailers..... IE: A toad and boat trailer
Try reversing that.

Nice van salesman needs a jolly good kicking could not do with him :p

Not that I can afford one without a lottery win, but can you get them converted to UK electrics I wonder? Just dreaming.....?

Yes if you know what you are doing it's not a problem. The biggest step is installing a 220/110 transformer to keep the Air Con, Microwave, Water Heater etc running on their appropriate voltages. Doing so means they work slightly differently because you will be stuffing in 50 cycles and not the 60 cycles the kit will expect. The two speeds of the air con will more or less be the same. The microwave will run at a slightly reduced power. The water heater will be fine. etc.

You could buy expensive kit that claimed to sort that all out, but the seller got up the backs of RVOC members and it seemed to disappear (Company Dissolved 2017). Here's a sample and what do you know, the old Olley Fello was in the mix. :gum:

Also add the VAT and the luxury tax to the price. They are gorgeous and the murphy bed is great. Look on you tube and the models are all shown. Made in Canada I think. Bit heavy as well but the yanks do not worry about the licence for them as lorries??!!!

When you win the lottery, they will make you anything you want . (y)

I am not going back for another 28 minute looksee, but can anyone guess how many times the use of the word "Optional" was used.?
I love the Murphy Bed concept, maybe it needs a slide out to be effective, but what a way of saving space in any MH.
Robert I did post this van up before maybe it was the 2018 version, same sales guy, and it was poo pood by many on here, but I love it, especially on the merc chassis (deisel no adblue anyone else notice).
I guess by the time all of those "Options" were added the price would be no where near £116,750, but Ze Germans are just the same eh?:D
Love it though, need a big toolkit as there are so many things that would need adjustment or fixing over time, shame its not a double floor also for overwintering, spray foam may "add to the insulation value" but would it stop the tanks freezing on Ski Trips in minus temps.
Thanks for posting and making me so envious of what the yanks have on offer, that we cannot afford to have, even as options as they are simply not available except maybe on a 250K plus German self specked van like a Morrelo or similar.

A couple of years back we had a Winnie on the Merc Chassis in Canada. The Island bed at the rear was on a slide and the lounge also had a slide. And yes is was HEAVY! Very solid build but looking at the Unity I wonder how long the 2 leersure batteries would last before you needed to find a hook up for your 50Amp shore power. !! On s footnote the Furnace was somewhat mega noisy on heat mode . Alfred for me thanks !
