not used recently, but according to campingcar infos there are two aires, one free, the other €5

We are planning to stop there tonight. Only know of one Aire there and last time (same time last year) it was free. Will be arriving in the dark so hopefully there are no rising bollards installed (those things give me the creeps - irrational I know)

One we use is N 50.88741 E 01.67142

Let us know if it is still free , We last used it three yrs ago. we have always used the one on the main rd into Wissant, a large field that backs onto a housing estate. If you go through a little passage way in the middle of the field on the housing side that road you come out onto takes you into wissant. Found this very usefull to use as a shortcut on there market days.

The large field was totally upgraded last year and now is a well marked out tarmac surface with large and small bays.

The only facilities last year were a grey water disposal point and waste bins - no water taps or toilet waste disposal.

The lack of toilet waste disposal didn't stop a French MH owner from pouring his effluence down the grey water point - so don't park close to there as it smells!

Buses park overnight in the centre bays and leave early - possibly the School run.

There were no barriers or pop up bollards and it was free but the Wissant authorities must have spent a lot of money on it and I thought they may now be charging to stay overnight.

Any recent visitor feedback appreciated.

Its still free to park - was very busy on Friday night - had to park closer than I would normally like to another van. Not helped by people parking right in the middle of a space for 2 - by ce la vie!
Apologies to anyone who was on there when we arrived - I like to drive round a couple of times before I choose my space - even at 11:30pm.
