Isuzu Rodeo yokohama

I'm a newbie
Hi, I recently bought a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo Yokohama (pic included). I would like to know if anyone knows anything of this model. More specifically the cabin wiring. Seems to have retrofitted 240v plug sockets, and a 110v inverter which we don't understand it's purpose. There is also a power converter which looks to take 110v down to 12v which seems redundant.

Sometimes they fit a 110v inverter to supply appliances or 110v transformer to supply battery charger and 12v system when on 230v hook up .

Japanese import? the name implies it

Welcome!
Thought that it would help everyone if we were to understand the terms
An inverter normally converts a DC voltage from a battery to AC. The output then could be 110v like America uses or 240v like for Europe. A Converter as you call it, or power supply is a transformer to convert an ac voltage upwards or downwards ie 110 to 240 or 240 to 110. A power supply converts the ac mains to regulated dc at either 12v or 24v also incorporating battery charge control, fusing and distribution.
You would have to have a really good look at whats installed, especially what exactly is feeding the 240v sockets , take your time.
Hope this helps

Mike

If it is a Japanese import the mains equipment, fridge etc, will be 100vac not 110vac.
It probably has a 230v to 100v converter for any fixed mains equipment and the battery charger.... All other mains will be retro-fit 230vac.
