Millions and millions, you can't get on the bloody campsites for them! One bloke even set up a wooden shed next to his moho I saw a few years back!!

also check out the garden gnomes, quad bikes, windmill onaments and christmas lights and trees. It's Chavland extreme!!!

Dont get me started on all the little yappy dogs either. Stay away from all that carp and its fantastic.

Ignoring the above, there are thousands who winter in Spain. No-one can forecast the weather but, generally you'll have warm, sunny, days between 11.00 and 16.00 and cold nights in mid winter. And, yes, it can snow if you're in the mountains and/or the north.

Started wintering 4 year's ago after many years of thinking about it.
I wish we had done it earlier. Long drive but 18 degrees and frost through the night is fine for us. Choose a site to suit your needs but book very early as they all get full quickly.

And if you don't like crowds and fancy somewhere a bit more exotic - Morocco! We've done it now for 5 years - beats Spain into a cocked hat!

There's always a few Funsters there every winter.

Terry, which months are best for Morocco? Really fancy it.

Have a read up on the Morocco threads. We started one off in 2013 and every year since people have done one per year. Gives a good onsite to the adventure.
Think open ticket prices are still around the €180-200 price per van. @TerryL or others will confirm .

I was wanting to know how people cope in a campervan as opposed to a motorhome for 6 months in winter regarding
space and heat. I have already got a motorhome and wintered in spain in it.

I've known people living in cars in Spain over Winter, so a Campervan would be great.

There's an article I've written in the Resources section that covers all the procedures plus some tips as well. The Morocco 2016 thread is a particularly good source of info as well as giving some idea of what we get up to. Being solo is no problem, @Busman did it solo a couple of years ago.

But if you wait until Jim's new monthly magazine comes out, a little bird tells me you might find something interesting..................!
