has anyone travelled to Morocco for winter? How was it?

Not done it ourselves. However Spain was packed last winter by the French as their government had advised them not to go there.

Have heard many stories from VWAlan who used to go most winters.

hi. well spain gets no where near morocco for sun .
morocco is ok . as safe as any where .
i used to travel down the coast then come back inland or on the desert side.
inland around december january can be very cold and deep snow. its very high in the atlas mountains .
i have tried going other ways but decided west coast down is best.
i found just about all morocco easy going nice people etc . compared to 1976 its very tourist orientated these days . there are several new campsites around but i havent used them . just looking at them is like viewing prison camps . there are some thats ok .oulidia , el jadida , midelt. or behind the restaurant between aglou plage and sidi ifni. the rest you gotta see .
prices are cheap. but not if you want uk food etc . veg , fish etc meat all ok.
as been said try a search .
i havent been for a couple of years i think i just needed a change .
but do miss the get up in a morning go for a swim then spend all day in shorts . might get back next year.

there was some great write ups last winter and many pics .
even made me wish i had been there.
